Mobile workforce software maker TrueContext has won a deal to provide its Pronto Forms solution to the sales teams of a major U.S. wireless carrier.

The Ottawa-based company said the unnamed customer has just completed a rollout of Pronto to its channel sales teams across the United States, allowing the company's sales representatives to support merchandising, inspection and monitoring of its wireless products at thousands of retail outlets across the country.

"Organizations are looking to rapidly and cost-effectively improve the quality of their service delivery in the field and increase their mobile capabilities with further utilization of wireless assets," said TrueContext CEO Alvaro Pombo in a statement. "We are pleased to support this carrier's strategic decision to include Pronto Forms in their field force automation arsenal."

Pronto Forms, which is used on mobile devices, allows customers to eliminate the use of paper forms in actions such as recording the replenishment needs of a store or ordering signage.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
