DragonWave to Break into European Markets with New Partnership

Ottawa-based DragonWave Inc. is partnering with mobile broadband product maker NextWave Broadband Inc.

DragonWave has signed a multi-year strategic network solutions agreement, which will see NextWave adopting DragonWave's wireless networking products as its preferred backhaul solution for service providers in several markets including Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Croatia and Slovakia. They will also work together to develop new wireless backhaul products and technologies.

"We are excited by NextWave's vision of the evolution of wireless broadband networks and their focus on high-capacity Internet-protocol (IP) optimized transport solutions," said DragonWave CEO Peter Allen. "DragonWave is delighted to be able to partner with NextWave as they introduce their end-to-end mobile broadband solution in the U.S. and across the globe."
