DragonWave and Cedicom Sign Strategic Partnership to Expand Russion and CIS Markets

DragonWave Inc a leading global supplier of next-generation wireless networks, today announced the signing of a strategic partnership agreement with Cedicom of Russia, a leader in the telecommunication market in Russia and the CIS countries. Under the agreement Cedicom will offer DragonWave’s AirPair Wireless Ethernet solutions of point-to-point microwave radios designed for IP and carrier networks. The agreement will strengthen Cedicom portfolio and allow DragonWave to significantly extend its market reach in the Russian market.

Cedicom works with more than 200 operators in Russia and the CIS countries allowing them to carry out a "turn-key" networks construction in wireless access and will act as a supplier of DragonWave’s broadband wireless Ethernet solutions. Cedicom will sell DragonWave’s entire AirPair product line to its network of customers that require superior backhaul application solutions.
