It’s no longer lonely at the top, thanks to Mindtrust

Exclusive forum enables local technology CEOs to share knowledge and experiences

Ottawa, ON – May 2, 2002 – Ottawa’s technology CEOs now have the opportunity to network with their peers, thanks to Mindtrust, a newly formed CEO-exclusive,

by-invitation-only networking forum. On a monthly basis, Mindtrust holds breakfast meetings featuring either high-profile speakers, local panels or roundtable discussions. After holding its first meeting in April, the new forum already boasts 58 members and includes a who’s who of Ottawa’s technology sector. The next meeting is scheduled for tomorrow, May 3, with Mosaid’s George Cwynar as the featured speaker.

“Ottawa has built a fine base of experienced executives in the technology sector,” said Rod Bryden, President and CEO of WorldHeart Corporation and Mindtrust Member. “It is very valuable to be able to share experiences with each other and with the growing number of new executives in this dynamic sector.”

Founded by five members of the local technology community, Mindtrust aims to attract CEOs who have a broad range of experience and represent the full cross-section of the high technology sector in Ottawa; offer a safe haven where CEOs feel free to share knowledge, experiences, challenges and opportunities with their peers; and provide a high quality networking venue.
