CHANTRY NETWORKS APPOINTS JOHN BURRUSS AS VICE PRESIDENT OF CUSTOMER
SERVICE
“One
of the goals of Chantry’s relocation to Boston was to have access to many of
the industry’s veterans,” said Peter N. Vicars, president and CEO, Chantry
Networks. “John’s skills will be a great addition to both the Chantry
management team and to Chantry’s customers.”
Burruss
comes to Chantry with significant experience working with routers and
high-performance wireless LAN networking equipment vendors. He is well known in
the industry and has filled many roles including sales support, public
speaking, engineering and technical support. He has authored numerous technical
articles for trade publications and journals.
Burruss has worked in top management positions for networking companies
including Gotham Networks and IronBridge Networks. He led a team of software
engineers for Windata, Inc., where they were responsible for developing the
operating systems and management applications for a new wireless product called
CyberPort. John holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Harvard University, and a
Master’s from Princeton University.
Burruss’ joins Chantry’s Boston-based executives Peter N. Vicars, CEO,
and Norm Meisner, vice president of worldwide sales. The Chantry management team is rounded out by Brian Collie, executive
vice president of business development, Bob Myers, CTO, and Sylvain Louchez,
vice president of engineering, based in Chantry’s Toronto development
office.
