Larry Perron , Senior Partner, Venture Coaches Fund

Larry, a professional engineer, has over two decades of business and technical experience which he has applied to identify and evaluate new investment opportunities, structure financings, and mentor the Venture Coaches Fund portfolio on operational best practices.

In addition to Venture Coaches, Larry is also a Partner in Skypoint Fund II, a venture capital fund providing early-stage equity to new or growing businesses with the potential to become major enterprises in telecommunications and information technology.

Larry began his career at Mitel Semiconductor as an Application Engineer and rose then as Director of IC Product Management. He later joined Toshiba of Canada as the Regional Head of Product Marketing for the Application Specific Integrated Circuit product line. In 1993, Larry joined Newbridge, where he held the position of Assistant Vice-President of Business Development and led various mergers and acquisitions and technology partnering initiatives.

Larry serves as Board member and/or board observer to Elliptic Semiconductor, TenXc Wireless, Accedian Networks, the Ottawa Network and Galazar Networks.

Larry holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Ottawa and is a member of Professional Engineers of Ontario.
